Anointing of the Sick

Once known as "Last Rites" or "Extreme Unction," Anointing of the Sick is not the sacrament reserved only for those who are at the point of death, but rather a sacrament for those of the faithful who are in their old age, suffer serious illness, suffer a prolonged or chronic illness, or are in danger of death.

St. Joan of Arc also celebrates a Mass of Anointing in the fall and in the spring. Please check the calendar for specific dates.
