Saint Joan of Arc’s Teacher of Vocal/General Music and School/Cantors’ Piano Accompanist and Concert Director
Ms. Logan has been a specialist in vocal/general music since 2007 after having graduated from Northwestern University with a Masters in Music for Music Education and an Illinois *PEL. Her additional training and certifications for music in the classroom include Orff, Kodaly, Kindermusik, Music for Moppets and Comprehensive Musicianship. She has enjoyed writing and leading Christmas Concerts and spring programs across her many years of classroom teaching for grades preschool through 8th and piano accompanying.
Ms. Logan has also taught piano for many years and concurrently serves as piano faculty for the Community Music Program at Northeastern Illinois University. She enjoys Chicago outings and visits to the east coast with her daughter and two sons. While liking all types of music including jazz. classical, pop and rock ‘n roll, Ms. Logan believes that being a classroom specials teacher is a specific joy; she witnesses the growth of students, not only musically and creatively across their school years, but also academically and spiritually.
